We get up today and get ready for our city tour! We see the Mediterranean Sea, the mountains of Nice, and then take a trip to Eze which is a small medieval town. Eze is known as the eagle's nest at the highest peat is 430m above sea level. While on this tour we visited Fragonard perfume factory. We saw where and how the perfume was made. Then we went to Monaco and watched changing of the guards at 1255. This was really fun to watch. We also saw the church where Grace Kelly was married to the king of Monaco.
We drove down the street where the formula one circuit is and then headed to the casino square. We did not get to go into Casino Royale because it does not open up until later in the day and we were headed to the beach!!
The tour guide drops us off at the Monte Carlo beach and gives us towels, drinks, snacks, unbrella, andbeach mats. This was everything we needed to have an AMAZING day at the beach. This beach was better than the one at Nice because the rocks were the size of peas rather than lemons at the other beach.
They picked us up at 1730 and we got dropped off at our hotel. We took a shower and got ready for the night. We ate dinner at a place near our hotel. Then we headed to the beach for wine and some street entertainment!! I loved all the people on the street - there was Michael Jackson who was dancing all over the place, roller bladers that were jumping things over six feet tall, and all types of singers and painters.
We had another bottle of wine on the beach and took out last look at the Mediterranean Sea in Nice for our trip this time!!
